The theme for @lpgrp’s May session is ‘New Romantic and Synth Pop’.
The listening session will be 9pm, Sunday 4th May.
We need to create a shortlist. Please send me the name of two Synth Pop albums you’d like to nominate. Use a direct message or a tweet mentioning 'lpgrp' to contact me. Your deadline is 6pm, Tuesday 15th April . Once the shortlist is ready, I’ll publish further details about how to vote.
As much as I love Boards of Canada and their ilk, I think this category is more about pop than electronica. It's quite a broad theme though - some great recent synth albums as well as some real classics from the 1980s and beyond.
